I have (finally) gotten m4a playback to work. However, in AmaroK and even in Kaffeine, when the track changes to the next one, it gives a glitch sound before playing (and sometimes cuts off a little of the next track).
I've tried everything I can think of, as well as looking up every query I could think of in Google.
Any thoughts? It doesn't seem to happen with MP3s, but it did give a glitch sound when advancing the track's pointer.
I have AmaroK 1.4.5 (Using KDE 3.5.6) for Kubuntu 7.04. I have tried Linux many times, and always come to the same "linux-complexity" roadblocks and give up. The reason for this PC is to play songs originally ripped under iTunes to m4a on my PC. I wanted to gave a "player" computer for another room in the house without having to install Windoze... but as of right now, I am SOO tempted to just install Windoze and get it over with (FYI: I also tried iTunes 6 in Wine - forget it).
Any ideas on the audio glitches It's like a phfzz sound...
Thanks,
Jim.
