Adept Manager vs. Dapper Drake

Does the Adept Manager only work with the latest version of Kubuntu

I have Dapper Drake [ver. 6.06] installed on my Thinkpad and I cannot get the Adept Manager to show any new packages or updates.

Only shows 937 installed & available.

NOTE: I know I was "online" because I was browsing the 'net with Konquerer.

Have you enabled the extra repos? Did you reload/update afterwards?

Thanks for response. what are "extra repos" and how do I enable them

NOTE: I am clicking on "Fetch Updates" and nothing happens.
