I think I set the keyboard wrong

So, I set up Kubuntu with no major issues, but I apparently got the keyboard layout picked wrong. I dont get an apostrophe anymore, and its pretty annoying since Im a little anal about my punctuation.

I tried changing the layout by this:

System Settings - Keyboard & Mouse - Keyboard Shortcuts - and I changed the Current Scheme to Windows Scheme w/o Win Key.

Halp??

Is your keyboard "special"? You could run the

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg script

, and choose "U.S. standard keyboard".
