Autoloigon, sound and running a script for an app located in another distro/.KDE.

First of all, I've got 3 separate distro's here, one SuSe 9.1 32-bit, one SuSe 9.2 64-bit and now Feistay Fawn AMD64. Yes, I've got got an Ahtlon64-processor.
    1) Is there any way to enable Autologon in Feisty Fawn? I've got it in both SuSe distro's, since I live alone so there's no danger if anybody else logging in under my account.
    2) I've got sound, but the output changes between my two sound hardware things. I've got a sound chip on the MB and a separate Soundblaster which for some reason is called 'Ensonique' whenever the sound is output through that one. I can see them both in KMix. However, when the sound is output through the chip, I can only see the options for that chip in KMix. Since I only installed the soundblaster to be used for a specific purpose in XP (yes, I've got that one installed too, for game purposes), I would like it (the output) to stay n the AC97. Also, to change the mini-jack each time I have to crawl under the computerdesk and I'd rather not do that every (few/other) day(s).
    3) I've got the newest version of BOINC installed in the SuSe 9.2 64-bit KDE. I run that BOINC through a script, which launches BOINC as a service (so whenever KDE restarts, and it does that, but not much) it keeps running and it logs everything BOINC does into an ASCII-file. Yes, I want to know everything BOINC does. After that, I launch the BOINCmanager and I restart the current WU. I restart because every time, before I shut down, I specifically pause BOINC. I have a similar script in the SuSe 9.1 32-bit, pointing to the SuSe 9.2 64-bit KDE of course, and it's running fine. I might ditch the 9.1 32-bit KDE fairly soon, but I plan to keep the 9.2 64-bit around for quite a long time. I've tried changing the script to do the same in Feisty Fawn but no go. I get
    .: 81:
    Can't open /etc/rc.status
I can't install the Feisty Fawn BOINC because a) it's an older version and b) I don't think I can point it to the WU's on the other partition.
    Thx in advance.

    1. K Menu > System Settings > Advanced > Login Manager > Administrator Mode > Convenience.
    2. Search. Multiple sound cards have been discussed before.
    3. "sudo touch /etc/rc.status" will make it work, but not necessarily correctly. You really should install the Kubuntu client.
