    Image Viewer

I dont like the embedded style of Gwenview Image Viewer which opens the image in konqueror file browser. Is there any light weight Image viewer like like one we have in gnome or in XP which opens the image in separate window.

I know there are many just wanna know which one is best or most popular.

kuickshow used to be the default viewer, it's pretty lightweight and simple. You'll probably have to change the file associations or maybe just uninstall gwenview if you're not going to use it.

If you don't want to see gwenview embedded on konqueror, you must configure konqueror to see in external program. In File associations (on konqueror preferences) select image and change the action to show on external viewer.

PS: I translate it from spanish, so they can be different phrases.

For light weight I prefer GQview.
For a little more editing functionality I use Gwenview but never in the embedded mode.
