I'm running beagle 2.16.3, and I'm having some strange issues with beagle. Specifically, I've noticed that beagle-helper seems to run at inopportune moments, such as while I'm actually using my machine. I went through the steps to get a look at the beagle-helper output, and took a look at ~/.beagle/Log/IndexHelper.
Inside, I found an absolutely incredible number of lines that said:
"IndexH ERROR: Could not filter file: No desktop entry"
and
"IndexH ERROR: Could not filter: No name in desktop entry"
The times indicate that they happen in extremely quick succession for around 30 seconds.
Also, there are a lot of entries that warn about the inability to index PNG files because of a bad "magic number". I assume that's some identifier inside the file somewhere. A quick grep and wc shows 174 of these warnings.
Down towards the bottom of the file there are (according to my little count) 8568 warnings ("WARN EX") about XML files either having multiple document elements or the document element not appearing.
I can't really tell if this is a bug in beagle-helper, or if I just haven't set something up properly. Does anybody know which it is?
