Disable mouse wheel scrolling on KDE taskbar

I've been unable to find out how to disable switching between windows when the mouse wheel is scrolled on the taskbar.

This also happens on the horizontal scrolling, which is the one really bothering me. When I click on the taskbar and then go up with the touch pad, I usually touch the horizontal scroll on the pad.

I could use Alt-Tab, and I do, but I'm sure there's a way to disable that.

    Thanks for any help.

Right click on the task bar>>configure panel>>taskbar. On the bottom you should see "Actions". Choose the action you prefer. Then click apply and ok.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work, it only changes the action of a middle mouse click, the scrolling always does the same thing. I only see actions for the 3 mouse buttons.

I guess you could get the source for Kicker and take that bit out...
Or just develop a habit of using the left- or right-hand side more. One thing you could do for this is when sliding down, slide down-left (or -right) instead of straight down.
        For external use only.
