program reload after reboot

I have my machine setup where beryl and kiba-dock are in the autostart folder. When I restarted my machine I realized that now 2 instances of these programs are showing up along with any other window I had open. How can I make it so that when I shutdown it will close all programs and not reload them when I reboot. Thanks for your help!

Try to look into: "alt+F2" -> "kcontrol" -> search for "session" -> "Session Manager" -> Check "start with empty session"
