Amarok visualizations not working

OK, I have seen several threads on this, but none seemed to be my same situation.
Amarok 1.4.7 (Using KDE 3.5.6)
dpkg -l | grep libvisual:

ii libvisual-0.4-0 0.4.0-1.1 Audio visualization framework
ii libvisual-0.4-plugins 0.4.0.dfsg.1-1ubuntu1 Audio visualization framework plugins
ii libvisual-0.4.0 0.4.0-1 libvisual

When I try to launch visualizations, it says libvisual and libvisual-plugins aren't installed. I maintain my udates via Adept to keep it simple. Anyone know the solution? Seems like it should be working.

i had the same problem but when i went into adept manager and put in libvisual i saw that i didnt have libvisual-0.4-plugins .
i got it and all is good now.

I've already checked in there... the only one I don't have is the dev package. (see attached)
