Just for a recap, i had posted before saying how my Linux had started working very sluggishly, and as i type this, its taking about a second for the words to appear..
Well, i wasn't sure about the reason why it was happening..but i think i've figured out what it is. I'd installed this application called 'NTFS configuration tool' from the Ubuntu forums, to be able to write files onto my NTFS (windows) drives.
The first time the computer became sluggish, i'd run the tool..but for some reason, at reboot it went back to normal and my computer was at optimum speed again. However, i used the app again today and instantly, my computers started lagging!
I want to know;
1. How i can uninstall the application, and undo the changes too ( I don't remember what i'd installed; i'd just copy pasted code from the fiesty forum onto my command line)
2. An application that can help me write on the ntfs partitions.
Help!
