    Clueless on Suspend and Hibernation

Is there a know problem with inability to come out of suspense or hibernation with Nvidia cards? I've dug thru this forum many times and there seems to be a number of people who can't get this to work...I'm one of them. I've tried monkeying with any number of settings to no avail. I'd appreciate whatever help you can give.

Running an old Pentium 4, NVidia Geoforce graphics board, and Feisty...

There's gotta be a way around this...suspense and hibernation just ain't that hard

I had the exact same problem on an old Micron P3. You can't even get into the BIOS to reinstall. I hate to say it but I tried just about everything as well and finally gave up. Bought another old Micron like my original and just savaged parts. Buying old PC's for little money is the way I'm going until I'm more experienced at Linux. It's easy to screw up with this OS.

Amen to that, bro...that's why I'm working on an old machine as a sandbox system. I've been migrating main funtionality onto it gradually as the OS matures, but after having to do a complete rebuild when I went to Feisty, I'm a little flinchy. I've had to do the same with MS over the years, to be honest, but Kubuntu/Ubuntu is still a little unpolished.
