I can't install Compiz

Please guys help me I'v tryed a million ways and tutorials and nothing helped.I install it,but no effects are going to show...
Video card version:Ati Spphire x550 Silent.

Any ideas?

you would get that animation (albeit slow) even with MESA drivers; since fglrxinfo shows your card, drivers were correctly installed and 3D is enabled.

Did you set up an XGL session?

glxgears on my ati works even with MESA, and shows about 1400fps;


no AIGLX support so far for ati, hence the troubles running beryl/compiz...

Isn't your card supported by the open-source radeon driver? you should have accelerated, not full 3D support, but still...
And if you have to go with fglrx, make sure to set up XGL

13179 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2635.692 FPS
13027 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2605.285 FPS
12761 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2551.716 FPS

Now I'll try run XGl session but the last time I run fglrx_Xgl session it was the same...
EDIT:no result with the xgl session

As far as I know it can't be run outside an XGL session when using fglrx

What exactly is the error?

there is no error,just there aren't any animations.What do you offer to do?

since xgl runs smoothly and drivers are properly installed this most likely is a compiz issue;
check this howto and review the compiz setup steps
there is also CompizConfig Settings Manager (ccsm) in which you configure various effects, you may want to see whether some of the effects/plugins you want are actually enabled
