java plugin for mozilla firefox

Hi,
I'm needing to install the java plugin for firerox in order to use the ORiley e-learning site. I find a possibility in Adept called j2rel.4-mozilla-plugin, but upon attempting to install I am informed it is "broken". Your patience and help is appreciated. Even a link to another set of instructions would be great.
