Hi y'all
A Couple of weeks ago while using VLC I lost audio.
I've Booted the machine with Live DVD 7.04 and the start up tune plays, so it ain't the motherboard.
I've reinstalled 7.04 and kept my home directory and the sound still don't work.
When I start VLC or any other media player the speaker symbol shows mute and I cant change it.
The mixer window doesn't show muted.
Checked the system settings, no problem shown
Can anybody help please.
