    Kiba Dock Problem

Hi All. I have been having some problems installing or getting Kiba Dock. I use the following website to install

    http://www.kiba-dock.org/components/...ba-Dock#Ubuntu

I did everything up to step for where I get the following error message below.

    E: Couldn't find package kiba-dock

I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but when I do a apt-cache search kiba-dock i got nothing. I have been trying to get it running for 2 weeks now but no luck. Can someone help me out. Thanks in advance.

P.S. my system is a Hp Pavilion Laptop DV2000.

You sure you did step one properly? Open up /etc/apt/sources.list as root (e.g. "kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list") and ensure the lines are there.

Yes I am sure I did step one properly. I went into Konsole and did a sudo bash and mc -e to add the Deb.'s.

        Nnnnno.
You need to do "dpkg -i".

Maybe I didn't sleep well last night but isn't kiba a gnome dock?

          GNOME dock with smooth animations.

Maybe I am just mixed up :P

            This helped me:
            http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...highlight=kiba

and, if you have KDE, you can also do
            sudo apt-get install python-gnome2 python-gnomecanvas
...some gnome packages which helps gnome applications running on kde.
