how can i install firefox and gaim in kubuntu (miss in add/remove) programs

i have a dvb card in my desktop how can i watch tv & there is a program in windows named opensky can i run it in kubuntu

K Menu | System | Adept Manager

In the Search field type firefox. In the window list below, right-click on firefox and select request install. Do the same for gaim. When both have been marked for installation, click Apply changes at the top of the screen.
