adept manager won't load

Every time I try to load adept manager I am prompted for the password and then when I click ok nothing happens.

It's gotta be the exact password that you gave yourself when you installed. Linux is case sensitive!

"Nothing" as in literally nothing, the button just pops back up, or as in the dialog disappears and nothing happens?

I am typing the right password because it tells me if I type the wrong password. By nothing i meant that the dialog box disappears after I press ok.

Sometimes it can take a while to come up. If it doesn't come up in ten seconds, though, it's not coming.
Open up Konsole and type "kdesu adept_manager" and hit enter. This should do the same thing, but hopefully provide some useful output.

I sent the command output to a file and this is what i got:

This much can safely be disregarded --- it is the wacom drivers crapola. The rest of it is .... a problem, I'm afraid.

No, but there is a workaround that usually works:

$ sudo xhost +local
$ kdesu adept

But it will probably stop working after a reboot.

The cause of the problem is related to root permission for the xserver.
