hey all. I just used automatix on my IBM thinkpad a month or so ago. it worked fine, but after reading the article, I'm thinking it wasn't that good of an idea. I don't even know if I will get updates correctly.

anyway, does anyone use easyubuntu? is that better?

Would really like to see what others think.

I once heard that Automatix did bad things to your fstab, and now I see it is much worse.
I don't think I'll ever use or recommend Automatix.

Some of the things in that list are things that I consciously avoid when writing scripts.
