Have i kiled my KDE?

I was messing around with my KDE and i did a few things and for some reason now, when i minimise anything it just dissapers and i cant find it again, its there cause when i shut down i see a flash of the minimised screens. Is there a simple way to get it back like it used to be, minimised app in taskbar.
Also i have another problem, how do i start knetwork manager and kwalled, i can access either? and they are both installed

No you didn't kill your KDE. At least if your problem is what it is I think it is.

Right Click on your panel -> Add Applet to Panel -> Add Taskbar.

You should be OK then

I went through that and scared myself as well.
