    how do you set your port to use ttyusb0

    hello everyone

    how do you set your port to use ttyusb0

    i have a usb to serial cable but when i try to upload a file i get a GetCommState error

    i was reading that you have to set port to use ttyUSB0 but i don't know how to do that

      i have a usb to serial cable, that i have connected form my laptop to my device...my laptop does not have a serial port, so when i run the loader it's giving me an error, i was reading on the forum here that you have to make the port use the ttyUSB0 , i guess the serial port to use the ttyUSB0

      but i don't know how to do so.
