First of let say that I am a Linux newbie. I have Kubuntu "Feisty Fawn" and so far I am really getting into it but I am having some resolution issues. I have an Acer 3680-2633 Laptop with an i810 graphics card. The screen resolution is where it's supposed to be (after I installed the 915 resolution package) BUT my login screen res. is way off and when I "suspend" the screen is out of proper resolution when I resume. But when I hit " ctrl alt backspace" the proper resolution comes back (except for the log-in screen). I would appreciate any help someone can give me on this. BTW I also have Ubuntu "Feisty Fawn" on a separate HDD that I pop in to use sometimes and I don't have this problem with Ubuntu.
