    Abelated reply as I have had more pressing things to take care of but first kenlive died at 95% after4 hours. Ouch. I'll try again when i have the time.

        I see that Kdenlive is in the Gutsy repos, at least for 64-bit -- wow, that makes installing it a whole lot easier. That "Methode Dieuxieme" was the hard way!

        I managed (about 2 weeks ago) to make a DVD that auto-starts and plays in any Windows or Linux computer, but still haven't made one that plays in the commercial DVD player alone. I've been distracted from that project by other things (installing Gutsy, etc.) and so I need to get back to it. I like the looks of ManDVD too -- that may help. Just need some time .... :P
