Hello! Wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I've been working on this for about 6 days now and can't seem to figure it out.
I've got an ATI X300 video card with dual outputs. After fighting with it for 4 days, I finally got dual monitors to work with the fglrx drivers. Now that I've got this up and running, I figured getting Beryl installed would be a cinch. When I try to run beryl-manager and switch to Beryl, I get this error:
Detected xserver : AIGLX
Checking Display :0.0 ...
Checking for XComposite extension : failed
No composite extension
beryl: No composite extension
After doing some searching online, I'm told that the fglrx driver does not support composite and would need to use another driver. But, to use dual monitor support, I'm also told that I would need to use fglrx. Is there any way I can get both dual monitors AND Beryl running? I'm on Feusty x86_64.
Any help anyone can provide would be great!
