Crons not running

Ok, I'm a linux noob. I set up a cron using kcron, and it does not run. Is there a setting something I have to start in order for crons to work for me?

For starters, you may post the whole crontab of the user in charge ...
To do so, issue crontab -l to a console and post the resulting feedback.

You could check cron:

K > System Settings > System Services:

Service Start at Boot Status

cron Yes running

There is also Start/Stop/Restart buttons for services.
