I just did a new install of Feisty Fawn and installed the newest Minicom so I can configure Cisco routers. When I launch the program and turn the router on, it will see the router go through its boot up yet when ready for me to log in, it does not respond to any keystrokes. If the router is already booted up, it will see nothing nor respond to any keystrokes. It is like it is in a View Only mode. I have the port settings correct (9600 8N1) or it would not see anything.

Anyone got a suggestion?

I fixed it by simply turning Hardware Flow Control off and turning Software Flow Control on.
