I'm having two problems with KPilot, both of which are show-stoppers. The Palm device in question is a Sony Clie NX70, which has worked fine for me in the past.
I'm using Kubuntu Feisty, KPilot 4.9.1, pilot-link 0.12.2, KDE 3.5.7.
The problems are these:
1. When I attempt to perform a regular sync, kpilotDaemon apparently crashes when it gets to the address book conduit:
/var/log/messages contains nothing more useful than that. If I disable the address book conduit in KPilot, then I can do the sync normally; unfortunately, then my address book is not synced up, which kind of defeats the purpose.
2. When I attempt to do a restore after a hard reset on my Clie, none of my files are restored. Instead, I get this message for every single file:
This is really frustrating. Typically I can get my Clie working and talking normally to Kubuntu for a couple of weeks at a time, and then a problem like this crops up which prevents me from being able to sync for months at a time.
Anyone have any ideas?
