Kaffeine and wirless

Ok tried ubuntu, tried kubuntu, both detected card (wireless) both detected my connection, neither allowed me to connect, result, bought a 15meter cable. I will work on it or bin it and get suse or fedora.

Next problem is Kaffeine, why cant i find a simple step by step solution to getting it to play a dvd without having to learn Unix, linux and everything else, you would have thought by now there would be some simple repository of knowledge. if ther is tell me if there isnt HHHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPP

Very much so. There's a few different repositories: Ubuntu forums, Kubuntu forums, Google, and the software repositories. The latter is what you need. Follow these directions, then K Menu > System > Adept Manager. Hit fetch updates, then install the packages "libdvdcss2" and "libdvdread3". (You may have one or both, make sure they're installed.)

It's like people are 'born' knowing WinDO$.. Then they wanna learn something new, and find out it's actual WORK!!

Ok.. Example.. Raised to speak French, then they wanna learn Finnish, then they bitch 'cause Finnish is nothing like French..
