software request (gnuplot)

A new version of gnuplot (4.2) has been out for a while and I've been patiently waiting for it to show up in the repositories - but so far no new gnuplot. It has some nice features I want.

Of course I can compile it myself, but it would be nice if it showed up in the repositories. Is there a place I can post gentle encouragements to the package elves to get on this?

Well, Gnuplot is included as a package for installation in Adept so ....

Are you using Adept as you package manager?

He refers to the 4.2 version. Feisty currently uses 4.0 with Octave.
