pan won't start

About a month ago pan newsreader crashed and since then it won't start. I reinstalled it and still no luck. When I go to the app in the folder and double click it to make it run I get nothing, no error, no try, absolutely nothing. It's like I'm clickin on a totally dead file.

Thoughts?

After uninstall the folder had to be deleted
