      Yes sir. Time to go look at the pretty cream colored screen err I mean watch it work.

        Can you open a konsole window and enter
        Code:
        glxgears
        ? It would be good to know the frame rate that you chip will support.

          "3891 frames in 5.0 seconds = 778.116 FPS"

          Wow it works now, and it really is pretty!

          Thanx everyone for all your help. Now when my ADD kicks in I will have a cube to spin. Do I have to turn on Beryl everytime I enter KDE?

          Mental note me: Do not close windows (at least not the Konsole window) or it gets wierd.

            No. I'm sure there's a better way to do it, but if you create a file in ~/.kde/Autostart with these contents:
            Code:
            #!/bin/sh
            beryl --replace
            it'll start Beryl whenever you log in.
            For external use only.

              Hmm now I have to figure out how to get it to use Emerald's themes and use the extra desktops. If it ain't one thing its another. Such fun.
