Wow it works now, and it really is pretty!
Thanx everyone for all your help. Now when my ADD kicks in I will have a cube to spin. Do I have to turn on Beryl everytime I enter KDE?

No. I'm sure there's a better way to do it, but if you create a file in ~/.kde/Autostart with these contents:
it'll start Beryl whenever you log in.Code:#!/bin/sh beryl --replace
