Virtual Desktops - Unique taskbars? [RESOLVED]

Well I still have yet to make any use of the virtual desktops feature of Linux.

Why? Well, even if a program is on a different desktop, it's taskbar button is still sitting there even when I'm on a different desktop. To me, this sort of defeats the purpose. I want it to be separate. If I have one program open on my second desktop, I want the taskbar when I'm on that desktop to only show that program, not the ones from my other desktops. I use my taskbar alot to navigate between the different windows I have open, and having too many is one of my problems.

So, is there a way to make the taskbar unique to each virtual desktop? The quicklaunch can stay the same, my clock, trash bin, whatever, fine. But the running application windows... Is there a way?

Access KDE's own Control Center (e.g. by [Alt][F2] kcontrol), navigate to Desktop > Taskbar and de-select "Show windows from all desktops" ...

PERfect! I googled for over an hour trying to find that. Still doesn't always occur to me where to look, I suppose.

      Thank you!

You could also just right-click on the panel, select Configure Panel, go to the Taskbar options, etc.
