m4a to .wav

Ok, recently I have "acquired" some music in the new m4a or mp4 format. I want to burn these to an audio cd to play in my car. I can not find an m4a to .wav converter anywhere. I usually use K3b for all my audio needs and until now has been perfect. Perhaps there is a libpackage I need? anyone know of a program that will convert?
Any help would be appreciated!

I am sorry this is gonna be a real noob question, but I am used to installing from the console with software thats in the repositories..Could you give me a quick rundown on installing after downloading and unzipping?
