Mplayer plugin plays at full screen firefox

    Hi,
I've only just noticed that if I play a video clip, for example the transformer clip from: http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/mediatests.html, the video is played in full screen which makes it very pixelated No controls are visible when played like this or any right click options. These clips should be played in a window so I've done something wrong somewhere.

Can anyone tell me how to get these clips back to playing in a window please. I'm not sure what other info might be needed so I'll wait until asked.

    Thanks

    Pat

I seem to remember seeing this before. Just for fun, double-click (left mouse button) on the video window.
    Kubuntu 11.10
KDE 4.7.3
Athlon XP 2000
512 MB RAM
ATI 64MB Video
~11 year old system still kicking :&gt

      Thanks for your reply.

It looks like I got my description a bit wrong. Double clicking actually *does* make it full screen. I think I should have said that it pretty much fills the browser page area. I've got feisty on another machine and selecting the same clip starts with Mplayer plugin - buffering - and then displays the clip in something like a 4"x3" window complete with all the controls. I can't for the life of me find out what is different between the two machines.

This might make it clearer what is happening:
