Adept Not working at all - Help!

Hey guys.

Just starting yesterday Adept hasn't been working at all, whenever I try and open it, it just says:

"The Adept database couldn't be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-get update or apt-setup in terminal and see if it helps to solve the problem"

Now, no other Adept Manager or Adept thingo's are running, and when I try apt-get update it just says:

E: Type 'svn' is not known on line 48 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list

While apt-setup gives me:

bash: apt-setup: command not found

Your issue seems to be stated in the message you get when attempting to run apt-get update:

E: Type 'svn' is not known on line 48 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list

If this error (that's what the 'E:' is telling you) is what is preventing Adept from running, the simplest thing to do would be to comment line 48 (the line that has 'svn' in it) so it isn't being read. If that is the only thing stopping Adept, you should be able to start it up normally.

Was Adept running prior to June 30? Did you by chance add or otherwise modify one of the repositories in Adept before this problem started?

It was working fine before June 30, yes.

I added a Repositories but that's it.

So...what do I do Dock?

Adept doesn't do SVN repositories. Apt repos only.

Yep, that last line stuffed it up, only problem...I cant write to that directory...How can I change this? All the permission things are blanked out.

"kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list". If you don't get a password prompt within a few seconds, try it again.
