I've been using Kino on the same computer hardware for over a year now without too many problems. But I just reinstalled it after installing Kubuntu Feisty, and can't get it to play back the raw DV files I just imported (or any older raw DV files, actually). Within a second of starting the playback, it freezes up, and a loud continuous beep is emitted until I terminate the app.
I usually start kino via the commandline, so there's lots of output, but I'm not sure what may be relevant to the problem. Any ideas?
