Kaffeine is Weird

Just starting the comp and used unrar -e xxxx.rar to extract a pasword protected rar and after that kaffeine has lost all ability to play avi's, rmvb's and mkv's . YES ive reinstalled the whole codec section from automatix but still no success. Suprisingly Mplayer still works with thsee files but i hate the gui...its so ugly....any suggestions..

Hmm - have you tried to start kaffeine from konsole ? -> error messages.

Ill try reinstalling Kaffeine again in konsole and also give Smplayer a try..
