Firefox problem after upgrade 2.0.0.4: Bin file

After the automatic upgrade of firefox in Kubuntu,
some website respond with "You have chosen to open .... which is a: BIN file from (e.g. http://home.hetnet.nl)
Would you like to save the file?"

No idea what's going on. Any help is appreciated.

    Kind Regards, JP

Their HTML pages are simply crap - they're lacking the DOCTYPE declaration :P

Yep. this is not a problem with FF. Try opening the page in Kongueror and see what happens. Bad coding at the web site.

Quote from the bottom of one of their pages: xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-comslt"

Plain text: in Mickeysoft's Internet Explorer (only ...) , this "pseudo code" displays flawlessly >

          Thanks,
found out in a Dutch forum that an other user has the same problem too, today. It is not FF neither Kubuntu to blame and I should have tested FF under Windows first to troubleshoot.
          Sorry for the inconvenience.
          Thanks anyway.

It's obviously not your fault that the Mickey$ofties are attempting to trash yet another de-facto-standard ...
