    Input not supported

After starting Feisty from Grub instead of the usual Kubuntu initiation details the message 'Input not supported' is dislpayed until the sign in screen appears.
There is a similar display on close down.

Any suggestions on fixing this condition?

    Re: Input not supported

Something about the resolution used in the bootsplash loader screen isn't compatible with your monitor. Whether it's the resolution or the refresh rate I don't know, but I guess the only way to see the load process would be to change (in Grub) your "kernel" line so that it doesn't contain the "splash" option.

Of course, if someone knows how the bootsplash is done, it may be possible to reconfigure it..

Hmm... I bet that first one will do the trick.

I personally don't like the splash screen. It doesn't show enough of the boot process to allow me to know what's going on.
