    Keyboard Shortcuts?

    How do I configure keyboard shortcuts?
    More specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to get the "K" menu to pop up when I press the Windows, or "Start" button on my keyboard.
    Cheers,

    under:
    system settings -> keyboard & mouse -> keyboard shortcuts

    see:
    panel -> popup launch menu

    don't think you can set the "win" key alone.
    but there's where you can set things...

        You're right. I cannot set the "win" key alone.

          By default, win key(s) are mapped as modifier keys (like alt and ctrl) which gives a range of possible shortcuts and shortcut combinations (win+F1 and alt+win+k etc.). It's possible to remap win key as a 'single' key, but then you're sacrificing a number of useful shortcuts (win+ shortcuts are especially useful as you can be relatively sure they won't conflict with application specific or kde's default shortcuts)

            Yes, I see what you mean. I'll just learn the new keyboard shortcuts that are native in Kubuntu.
            Which reminds me, does anyone know of a place where I can find a list of all the Kubuntu keyboard shortcuts? How about for Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Fluxbox and IceWM too? I use all these GUIs on a daily basis, so finding a place that can tell me the shortcuts for all of them would be awesome!

              By the way, the shortcut to bring up the K Menu in Kubuntu is Alt-F1. Many other distros use the Win key (Debian, Ark), and it bugged me at first that Kubuntu didn't, but what kubicle said makes sense.
