run kdm and gdm at the same time?

is there anyway i can run both kdm and gdm at the same time?
i know i can just run KDE on gdm but i read about running both of them at the same time once but never actually read how to do it.

i would normally use KDE but i like gdm's ease of being able to use remote login since i was unsuccessful on several attempts to get it working under kdm
