repos real slow?

is it me or are the repos all extra slow today. im trying to get xmms from them and its taking 42 mins to d/l .

It's probably just you, I just updated my cache in about one second (but there weren't any downloads to make, so...).

The Medibuntu repositories were very slow for most of the day, but they seem to be fine now.

I use the "us" repos even though I am in a land far away but they are much faster than the mirror for my country

Hmm, I don't know which country you live in, but I use "dk" (I live in Denmark), and they are pretty fast. I can report very slow Medibuntu repositories almost all the time

Fairly fast here. It could be your ISP is having problems.

Hmm, I don't have any problems with downloading anything else like kubuntu iso files etc. I don't think it is a ISP problem....?

When I say slow it is 20 - 30 kilobytes per second.

30k is very fast for me

Not necessarily between you and your ISP but between your ISP and the Repos. Then again you could have hit it about the same time alot of others have.

I just mentioned it... I almost never experience speed problems on the standard repositories.
