Where is the trash can

My trash can on the desktop is missing? was it there in the first place?

Have done a search for missing trash can on these forums, but found nothing?

Any clues

Right-click on your KDE menu button and choose "Panel Menu | Add Applet to Panel".

Voila - trashcan and many other goodies.

What a idiot I am,,,had already played with those options, must have missed it.
