If you can't open any webpage in Konqueror but Firefox works fine, try this out.
Go to Settings -> Configure Konqueror -> Cache, clear the Use cache checkbox, OK.
As for Akregator, I'm not too sure... I tried the same trick (Settings -> Configure Akregator -> General -> clear Use the browser cache), but it didn't work at first. However after I did some random operations (something like re-enabling and disabling caching and restarting Akregator for a few times), Akregator worked as well...
I have no idea why this is happening. Can someone please figure out a better solution with caching enabled?
