Can I install RSSOwl and Mozilla Sunbird?

I'm new to Kubuntu (and Linux/Unix) and it wasn't in the add/remove programs so I'm lost.

I managed to install Songbird using online instructions, and then I tried using the same ones for RSSOwl and I couldn't because it needs Java or something (which I also don't know much about but I installed all the Java packages in Add/Remove)


So if anyone could help that would be great.

[Side: Can someone give me instructions to install Beryl and keep the Kubuntu (KDE?) interface, last time I tried it made it look like Ubuntu, and gross because its not Ubuntu so it didn't work properly, even added the ubuntu symbol to the top left corner... all i really want to add are wobbly windows and cube... which I did with the crapped install i had (though i couldn't do the cool grab the edge and turn it thing i saw in the vids that was the final straw in making me want kubuntu in the first place :/]

also, because my windows is messed up because i hadda reinstall but can't get the right instal disk for my comp it non-activated time is almost up, so unless anyone can give me an .iso of the Windows Home Edition [Retail] then I'll need to learn how to use wine and install itunes on kubuntu as its going to be my main OS, anyone know how to do this stuff. im a super newb.
