can any of you guys post a good repo list. i have all the basic ones with multiverse and universe enabled. im looking for any extra ones i can find. they dont have to be official repos.

thanks but im not really looking for accelerated desktop. rather just more places to update my kde and more programs. but i will add this repo regardless. hehe , maybe i will try this on a test user account?

oh...all right...another popular thing is automatix.
arguably it's a tool that simplifies non linux specific sw installation.
you install automatix, you start it up, it updates your repositories, and gives you easy access
to such stuff as: skype, firefox, nvidia drivers, amule, ...

alright guys. any others? i also added the ones source-o-matic generated for me. i recall in edgy we had kubuntu.org/egdy repos...do they have feisty as well?

GetDeb

Motivation
The current Ubuntu official packages update policy (described here) is limited to critical bug fixes, meaning after each release there will be no regular bug fixes or improvement updates. This a good practice for stability purposes specially if you are planning to do an enterprise level support but it also means that until the next release you will not be able to get the latest and greatest software versions for your system.

To make your sources.list nice and neat, you can just use these lines for the official repos:

You'll ave to go through the list. It's been awhile and I forget which ones did what. :-) I have some commented out because they didn't work for me. If you get them working let me know.

yes very cool list indeed. Im really anticipating the kubuntu.org repos to kick in so we can keep our kde up to date like on edgy. i also had to comment them out with a "#" for now.
