Gentlemen,
I just installed Kubuntu 7.04 on my Tecra M3 after I had it running for a couple of years on FreeBSD and Gentoo. I figured I'd give Kubuntu a try, and I am liking it! The only issue I am having so far is with 'aterm'. I tried installing it using adept as well as apt-get, with the same unfortunate result.
When I launch 'aterm' from any terminal, I get pagefulls of this error (of course Request and resource values change as the error repeats):
aterm has encountered the following problem interacting with X Windows :
Request: 62, Error: 8(BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes))
in resource: 0x420000F
This happens even when I try to start 'aterm' without any flags. Also, the aterm window that launches is some strange shade of green.
Here's a screenshot of what I am getting.
I have searched both Kubuntu and Ubuntu Forums as well as Googled without success. Any help will be immensely appreciated!
