    kubuntu aptoncd question

    i have try to install aptoncd from the repos but i see that i need to install and gnome-control-center,gnome-menus,nautillus,nautillus cd-burner
    why this?how can i install only the aptoncd without them?or this is not impossible

    Simply because, as one can see from these screenshots, APTonCD makes use of the "GNOME GUI"

      and other programmes use gnome gui but they dont ask to install this programmes.i think is impossible to install this programme in kubuntu

        It all depends on what the packager has set as the dependencies for the program, as far as I know. I have found that if you ever intend on installing a GTK app, sooner or later, you're going to end up with half of gnome on your computer anyway, so I just bite the bullet and install what it wants. (:

        Of course on the other hand, the same is probably true in reverse for people that use gnome and want amarok. (: (:
