Dumb & Dumber - trials of USB Samsung printer on DrayTek router

Guess this is posted elsewhere but:
    1. download the .ppd linux driver for the printer
    2. system > administration > printing > new printer
    3. choose UNIX Printer (LPD) not CUPS as in the Vigor instructions!
    4. enter the pure ip-address into the Host: box - no lpd:// needed in front
    5. enter the Queue: I used p1 as in the Windows tutorial on the Draytek homepage
    6. then just go with the instructions and load the driver when asked

Recently re-loaded KUBUNTU v7 - which is superb, but couldn't get the bloody printer to work. Even following my own instructions.
Reason? Because I was loading 192/168/etc as my 'pure ip address' when I should have been loading 192.168.etc

    Just shows - something
Working...
