6. then just go with the instructions and load the driver when asked
Recently re-loaded KUBUNTU v7 - which is superb, but couldn't get the bloody printer to work. Even following my own instructions.
Reason? Because I was loading 192/168/etc as my 'pure ip address' when I should have been loading 192.168.etc
