No sound in kaffeine

I'm new to kubuntu, this is my second install.

Instalation went without any real problems, the one thing that is anoying me is that kaffeine plays movies right but without sound. Realplayer works fine (sound and image), Amarok is fine, too, just kaffeine is without sound.

In the other instalation, at my workplace, kaffeine works fine and I don't have a clue as to what the problem here may be.

Any ideas ? What information I fail to give that could be helpfull ?

Just tried kaffeine with a comercial dvd and it worked fine, image and sound, the other test was with a .rmvb file, so I think the problem is there
